Tea Time Still Life

This digital illustration was part of a personal project to explore still-life composition with bold vector shapes and expressive color. The scene features a mint-colored teapot and teacup with decorative accents, surrounded by vibrant yellow lemons—all set against a clean, moody background for contrast.

Design Process

• Concept and Composition: I wanted to create a cozy yet modern tea scene. I positioned the elements to create visual balance, using the lemons to guide the viewer’s eye across the canvas.
• Color and Style: The palette uses complementary tones—cool blues and warm yellows—for contrast. I kept the shadows soft and forms simple to maintain a vector-friendly look.
• Details and Texture: Stylized lines and curves were added to the teapot and cup to give them personality while staying within a flat illustration style.
• Final Touches: Everything was finalized in Adobe Illustrator, and I exported the illustration for both web and print use.
